MILLER, ANGELA DAWN passed away on August 12, 2014 while on vacation in Red River, New Mexico. Angie was born in Dallas, Texas on November 20, 1990 at Baylor Hospital. She was raised with her brother, Joseph in Plano, Texas by her parents, Marshall and Jo Ann. Angie attended Plano East High School and Collin County Community College, and was currently enrolled in courses to become a Yoga Instructor.
From an early age, Angie was an avid dancer, and through her teenage years and young adulthood she continued her passion for ballet. Her broad range of musical talents and interests were self-evident. She was a member of the Plano East Orchestra, and participated in church choir. She played violin and guitar, and had a natural ear for music. She was a supporter of the local music scene, and often sang with local artists and songwriters. Angie loved musicals, and one of her favorite pastimes was to go to the Dallas Summer Musicals with her friends and family.
Angie travelled with the Custer Road Methodist Church Youth Ministry on several mission trips to Crossville, Tennessee, and more recently she toured Los Angeles, New Orleans, New Mexico and the Caribbean Sea.
Angie's greatest gift to the world was her vast heart. Her empathetic nature was rooted deeply in her soul, and she touched the lives of everyone she met. She was always the first to help a person (or animal) in need, even if it meant her own needs would have to wait. She brightened spirits with her smile, and her loving kindness was an example for everyone.
Angie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, David M. Ivy, Sr. and Ivy Helen Ivy. She is survived by her parents, Marshall and Jo Ann; brothers, Joseph Miller, Paul Blanchard and wife, Cheryl; sisters, Dannah and husband, Jim Walter, Tess Cain; paternal grandparents, Red and Carol Miller; aunts, Kathryn Miller and Janet Ivy; uncle, David Ivy, Jr.; nieces, Madison Blanchard and Noelle Walter; nephews, Jameson Walter, Jackson Blanchard; cousins, Matthew Heath and Gavin Ferguson; and many more beloved family and friends.
